Vaxart, Inc. appointed James B. Breitmeyer, M.D., Ph.D., to its Board of Directors, effective April 23, 2026. Dr. Breitmeyer brings over 35 years of biopharmaceutical experience, including leadership roles at Altay Therapeutics, Oncternal Therapeutics, and Bavarian Nordic. The appointment is intended to support the advancement of Vaxart's oral vaccine platform and clinical development programs. Dr. Breitmeyer will receive standard cash and equity compensation as outlined in the company's Non-Employee Director Compensation Program.
