OMNIQ Corp. has been awarded a new Proof of Concept (POC) contract for an AI-driven Machine Vision system. This system is designed to automate vehicle damage reporting for hospitality and parking operators, creating an objective visual record. The technology aims to mitigate financial and operational burdens from unverified damage claims, which can account for up to 25% of a parking operator's unexpected annual costs. The solution uses a 360-degree vehicle inspection system with high-accuracy vehicle recognition and automated damage documentation. It captures 4K imagery at entry and exit, indexed to license plate numbers, to document fine details like scratches and dents. The initial phase of the contract will equip four key lanes (two entrances, two exits) with 28 specialized damage inspection cameras. The deployment plan is 86 days and includes full system integration and a pilot launch. The pilot aims to validate 100% image capture rates and at least 95% License Plate Recognition (LPR) accuracy.
