Dr. Benjamin J. Allen, a member of the Board of Directors of Heartland Express, Inc., has decided not to seek re-election at the company's 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Dr. Allen will continue to serve on the Board, as Chairperson of the Compensation Committee, and as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee until the Annual Meeting. His decision was not the result of any disagreement with management, the Board, or related to the company's operations, policies, or practices. Heartland Express expressed gratitude for Dr. Allen's dedicated service over the last 31 years.
