As of September 30, 2024, CBA's Basel III Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio was 11.8%, Tier 1 ratio was 13.7%, and Total Capital ratio was 20.1%. CBA's CET1 ratio increased by 29 basis points during the quarter, mainly due to capital generated from earnings. Total Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) increased by $5.6 billion (1.2%) to $473.2 billion, driven by increases in credit risk, operational risk, and traded market risk RWAs. The increase in credit risk RWA was primarily due to volume growth, partly offset by improvements in credit quality and data/methodology changes. The Leverage Ratio was 4.8% as of September 30, 2024, exceeding the minimum requirement of 3.5%. The Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) averaged 131% during the quarter, and the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) was 115%.
