Aligos Therapeutics granted an exclusive license to Xiamen Amoytop Biotech for the development and commercialization of pevifoscorvir sodium in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. The deal includes an upfront cash payment of $25 million to Aligos. Aligos is eligible for up to $420 million in future development, regulatory, and commercial milestone payments. The agreement includes tiered, high single-digit royalties on net sales within the licensed territory. The deal is subject to Amoytop shareholder approval, expected within 30 days of signing.
