A jury in the Superior Court of San Diego County awarded the plaintiff $35 million in compensatory damages and $70 million in punitive damages. The lawsuit originated from a former employee terminated in October 2023 who alleged retaliatory termination. The company maintains that the termination was for legitimate reasons and intends to challenge the verdict through post-trial motions and appeals.
